Manage Salutations

Explanation

The salutation for a contact is part of the stadard functionalities of Business Central. Please see the Microsoft learn to get more information.

As the standard of Business Central cannot operate contacts of type person to send invoice, E-Care brought some modifications in the address management. Therefore in E-Care, a contact of type company can handle Firstname, Surname and Salutations.

The salutation has 2 standard types: Formal and Informal. The E-Care extension adds a new type: Addressing. In this type, you can handle the salutations (gender) an address should show on invoices or credit memos. See following examples:
